Request Appointment withPatrick Miranda, OD, is a board-certified optometric physician with a special interest in medical eye care. Dr. Miranda graduated from the Colorado State University with a major in Human Biology and a concentration in human anatomy and physiology. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry at Indiana University Bloomington, graduating with Cum Laude as President of the IU chapter of the Gold Key National Honor Society and American Optometric Student Association.
Throughout his studies, Dr. Miranda would also earn several awards for his contributions to the optometric community and excellence in patient care including the Stiney Award and Aaron Wernimont award.
While attending school, Dr. Miranda completed several internships including The Villages VA Outpatient Clinic in The Villages, FL, Charlotte Eye, Ears, Nose, and Throat clinic in Charlotte, NC, and Atwater Eye Care Center in Bloomington, IN. During his time there, he gained experience with corneal disease management, binocular vision therapy, glaucoma and macula disease management, and dry eye therapy.
